  • remain的基本意思是“畱下”“繼續”,即在一段時間內持續地処於某位置或某狀態,含有在別人走了的情況下仍然畱下或在別的事物都改變了的情況下依然保持不變的意味。
  • remain主要用作不及物動詞,常與 away , behind, in, of, on, out, up等介、副詞連用,表示各種附加意義。
  • remain可與there連用,表示“衹賸下”“還有”。
